Memory Studies Association Third Annual Conference

25-28 June 2019, Madrid (Spain)

The Memory Studies Association is a professional association for Memory Studies scholars, as well as those who are active in museums, memorial institutions, archives, the arts and other fields engaged in remembrance. The objective is to become the most important forum for the memory field – both through an annual, international and interdisciplinary conference and through a strong online presence.

ECHOES Colleagues, Jan Ifversen, Britta Timm Knudsen, Joanna Wawrzyniak, Cristiano Gianolla and Marine Schütz will be hosting the panel ‘De-colonizing Entanglements: The ECHOES Approach to European Urban Heritage and Memory’. Prof. Ifversen will also be taking part in a roundtable discussion about the EU’s H2020 Frame and Memory Studies.
