On November 20th 2019 heritage will take centre stage again in Brussels through the ILUCIDARE Playground: Cracking the future of heritage event to be held at the Ateliers des Tanneurs. ECHOES continues its collaboration with the European-funded ILUCIDARE project in their exploration of heritage diplomacy. Together with members of KU Leuven and KEA Public Affairs, Dr Cristina Clopot (WP6) and Dr. Csilla Ariese (WP3) will contribute to the development of the Ilucidare Playground’s afternoon programme. ECHOES and ILUCIDARE will prepare a workshop on heritage diplomacy and international cooperation.
The ILUCIDARE Playground event aims to empower heritage professionals, researchers, policy makers, and other participants in heritage work in their activities. It also seeks to support knowledge-exchange and networking, stimulate interdisciplinary discussions, as well as to as influence policy-making processes. This one-day event will address topics such as aligning international and EU actions, heritage innovation, heritage diplomacy and international cultural relations.
The ILUCIDARE – ECHOES workshop is scheduled for the second part of day and it will be open to all attendees at the event that wish to take part.
